The weather was daunting but we like it challenging. On the last day of summer, 8 brave souls leapt into a cloudy sky and most of us came down on target. Some lost their shoes and others landed in a corn field but good times were had by all. Living the good life in the ALS Residence.

When a group of paralyzed people living with ALS & MS want to jump out of a plane, you can believe there are plenty of naysayers. The ALS & MS Residences at the Leonard Florence Center for Living are used to defying expectations at this point.

Skiing 2011 - Back In Black

Five years ago skiing with my brother and uncle, I had no idea it would be the last time I would ever ski. Or so I thought until a BEAUTIFUL day of spring skiing at Wachusett slopes last Friday. My friend Chuck came along to video the experience and I hope you'll agree that he did an exceptional job of holding the camera and snowboarding next to us. It was a great experience but next year, we'll have to go earlier is the season because the slushy conditions kept us off the diamonds and that is, after all, the goal of a thrill seeker.
Life is good :)
